Commercial Litigation

All of the firm’s lawyers began their careers in the commercial litigation departments of prestigious national law firms – Smith Gambrell & Russell, McGuireWoods, and Foley & Lardner. Drawing on this experience, the firm takes on a number of commercial litigation appeals each year, representing clients ranging from entrepreneurs and corporate executives to small businesses to large companies and financial institutions.

In recent years, we have handled appeals from cases involving real estate disputes, construction contracts, declaratory actions regarding insurance coverage, trust litigation, derivative actions, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and trade secret and non-compete litigation.

Due to settlements and summary per curiam decisions, not every appeal we handle results in a published opinion.
