Family Law
Every year we handle a number of family law appeals involving issues such as distribution and valuation of marital assets, alimony and child support, claims for attorney’s fees, child custody and parental relocation, dependency claims, and contested adoptions.
Due to settlements and summary per curiam decisions, not every appeal we handle results in a published opinion. However, a number of our recent family law appeals have resulted in published opinions, including the following: Stough v. Stough, 18 So. 3d 601 (Fla. 1st DCA 2009); Vickery v. Vickery, 8 So. 3d 443 (Fla. 5th DCA 2009); G.S. v. T.B., 985 So. 2d 978 (Fla. 2008); Calahan v. Calahan, 979 So. 2d 358 (Fla. 5th DCA 2008); Tanner v.
